Gong Fu Cha

The gongfu tea practice is a type of Chinese tea ceremony involving the preparation of tea using smaller brewing vessels and a higher leaf-to-water ratio than in western-style brewing.

Chanoyu

Chanoyu is a Japanese cultural activity involving the ceremonial preparation and presentation of matcha, powdered green tea, the procedure of which is called temae.

Full Moon Tea Ceremony (August 30th)
Ichi go Ichi e ( 一期一会): This Japanese four-character idiom describes a cultural concept of treasuring the unrepeatable nature of a moment. The term has been translated as “one time, one meeting”, and “once in a lifetime.” Join us for a special gathering in observation of the Full Moon on August 30th.

Traditional chado tea ceremony will be performed with matcha and tea sweets. Seats limited, plan ahead please.
